Day 1

HEADLINES FROM OCTOBER 15TH:

MLB: Jose Reyes(SS-Mets) went under the knife for a torn hamstring tendon. He is likely to be ready for Spring Training.

Hiroki Kuroda and Scott Elbert added to Dodgers playoff lineup. Jon Garland and Jeff Weaver are off.

Chan Ho Park and Eric Bruntlett added to Phillies roster. Brett Myers and Kyle Kendrick are off.

Pedro Martinez will start for Game 2 in the World Series.

NHL: Pavel Datsyuk day-to-day with upper body injury.
